Welcome to the Fuse onboarding guide. Below are five things we recommend for new users:
1) Download Fuse from the App Store
Download the Fuse app from the Apple App Store here and join our Telegram to contact us for support.
2) Complete your onboarding
When you first sign up for Fuse, your wallet is created with two initial keys: a Device Key and a 2FA Key. These keys operate on a 1/2 threshold, meaning you only need one of these keys to execute transactions and access your assets.
To complete the onboarding process, you must add at least one Recovery Key. This increases your wallet's security by changing the threshold to 2/n (where 'n' is the total number of keys). For example, with one Recovery Key, your wallet gets a 2/3 threshold, requiring two keys to authorize transactions.
3) Transfer your assets to Fuse
Fuse is purpose-built as a secure vault for safeguarding and compounding your long-term assets. Transfer your assets to Fuse to upgrade your security.
4) Stake with Fuse
Earn passive income by staking your SOL with Fuse. Staking is the easiest way to earn native staking rewards and help secure the Solana network. Here’s how to stake with Fuse.
5) Use Fuse's native swap feature
Fuse’s swap feature natively integrates with Jupiter, Solana’s leading DEX aggregator, to facilitate asset swaps directly from the Fuse app. Here's how you can swap assets with Fuse.
6) Upgrade your 2FA to a Ledger
Fuse keeps your assets safe by introducing a two-layered key system: your Device and 2FA Key. Both keys are needed to approve transactions.
The 2FA Key is automatically set to iCloud when setting up Fuse, but you can change your 2FA to a Ledger to upgrade your security. Start with your iCloud and upgrade to a Ledger as your security needs increase. Here's how to upgrade your 2FA Key.
7) Create a Spending Limit
If you’ve upgraded your 2FA Key to a Ledger, you’ll always need access to that Ledger to approve transactions. With Spending Limits, you can enable low-value transactions that don’t require 2FA approval for seamless transactions - blending security with convenience.
For example, you can set a spending limit of $1,000 USDC for a weekly transfer allowance. Here’s how to create a spending limit.
